Ashley Twichell vs. Keri-Anne Payne, View From Above

Ashley Twichell of the U.S.A. (lead swimmer) and Keri-Anne Payne of Great Britain (drafting swimmer) met for the third year in a row at the aQuellé Midmar Mile today.

I just wanted to stick to Ashley as much as I could and see how close I could get to her because I know she’s got a lot of speed at the moment which I managed to do and am so pleased with,” said Payne.

While Payne decided to swim all 8 miles over the Midmar Mile weekend, she gave a gutsy performance in trying to keep up with the fast American who is currently on a tear.

The rivalry continues…
