Khaled Shalaby and Sherwitte Hafez in cooperation with the Capital Group organized the international Stroke for Egypt, an international multi-race, multi-sport charity event.
The inaugural 7-day festival offered 2 km, 5 km and 10 km open water swims as well as a water polo tournament, fin swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, and disabled athlete events.
