Masters Of The Universe Meet In Montreal

Many of the world’s fastest and most experienced masters swimmers will gather in Montreal, Canada for the 15th FINA World Masters Championships between July 27th and August 10th to duel head-to-head. The open water swim will be on held on August 10th.

Athletes will compete in the same location as the elites did during the 2005 FINA World Championships, the Olympic rowing basin on Île Notre-Dame at Parc Jean-Drapeau. It is a flat-water, warm-water (24°-26°C or 75.2°-78.8°F) rectangular course where swimmers in each age group will compete together (25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, etc.).
