This weekend, a group of teenagers from ‘Surfers not street children’ experienced life under the ocean, many of them for the first time.
I am Water Ocean Conservation Trust hosted a snorkel day at Vechies Pier with the aim to teach the kids about the importance of ocean conservation. The day started off with a short educational talk on the effects of litter and pollution in the sea, followed by a beach clean-up before taking the children through a series of stretches and free diving, surfing, and ocean swimming.
