“Todo en mi vida gira en torno a la natación, es mi pasión“, says Lexie Kelly en route to another open water swimming competition in another country on another continent.
Arguably the most well-traveled aquatic athlete on the planet, Kelly has visited Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, U.K., Spain, and Syria in the last few months alone with plans to visit Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Japan, and Canada in the next few months. “Everything in my life revolves around swimming, it’s my passion.”
She is in the Spanish Mediterranean Sea to compete in this week’s Tabarca-Alicante swim through a nature’s reserve where she will swim through all kinds of marine fauna and flora.
