Great North Swim May Go Bioprene

The current water temperature in the Lake District’s Windermere was measured at 17.1ºC this morning. The elite athletes at this weekend’s Great North Swim were informed of the possibility of a traditional neoprene race becoming a non-wetsuit race. The final decision will be taken on Sunday, in the morning of Great Britain’s largest open water swimming extravaganza in the world in consultation with British Swimming.
