It is not often that swimmers can stop submarines. But the magic of aloha knows no bounds.
At the annual Waikiki Roughwater Swim that goes from Kaimana Beach under Diamond Head volcano across Waikiki Bay, Atlantis Submarines – a popular tourist service for visitors to Hawaii – purposefully suspends its operations in order to give way to the thousands of swimmers who traverse along its underwater course.
