Pinoy Aquaman Completes The Hinatuan Passage

Ingemar Patiño Macarine Full‘s New Year’s Day attempt to swim 10.5 km across the Hinatuan Passage in the Philippines was successful.

The Pinoy Aquaman swam from Brgy. Dona Helen, Socorro, Siargao to Brgy. Cagdianao, Claver, Surigao del Norte in 5 hours 8 minutes. “The swim is to promote clean seas and beaches, open water swimming as a sport, and tourism in Surigao. Thank you Claver Mayor Eddie Gokiangkee and Cagdianao Brgy. Capt. Redeemer Gabunada for sponsoring the swim. Thanks Hayanggabon Brgy. Capt. Rito Placencia, Nature Spring Ritche Joseph Fortus, Mindanews Correspondent Roel Catoto, GMA Network Correspondent Natz Corbeta, RPN Dxks Surigao Rpn, Surigao Runners Club and Triathlon Surigao members Michael, Garchil, Ronniel and Brian, and my navigator Edwin de la Cruz.”
