1,410 individuals swam with 235 teams at today’s 10-mile Trans Tahoe Relay in Lake Tahoe that was won by the Tahoe Eleven Milers for the seventh time (2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2015).
What is most remarkable is that the Tahoe Eleven Milers with an average age of 42 years and a 50-something captain beat a team of 20-somethings captained by Chad La Tourette.
