Another marathon swim from the past has been discovered and added to the 24-hour Club historic list (see here): Vedika Bolliger of Switzerland swam across Lake Zürich both ways from Zürich to Rapperswil and back in 1997.

The 56 km solo swim took her a total of 29 hours 0 minutes when she swam 13 hours 30 minutes in one direction and followed it up with a 15-hour 25-minute swim on the way back.
