In addition to the trisolothon, four new categories were added to the annual Jax Coco Shek O Challenge in Hong Kong.

The 2.2 km point-to-point course from beach-to-beach (Big Wave Bay to Shek O Back Beach) will add the four fun alternative categories in the July 9th event:

* The Hypoxic – swim from Big Wave Bay to Back Beach without breath; a 30-second penalty will be assessed for each breath taken
* The-Everything-Goes – wear or use any equipment of their choice to give them the extra edge over their competitors – small motors and hydrofoils are allowed
* The Fly Don’t Cry – swim head-up butterfly along the course
* The-Leg-Burner – kick the course without fins with a one-hour cut-off time
