Rafael Gil And Vânia Neve Are Honored In Portugal

The Portuguese Swimming Federation (Federação Portuguesa de Natação) announced its annual awards in Porto over the last weekend.

Open Water Swimming Coach of the Year honors went to Rui Borges while the Open Water Swimming Official of the Year was given to Alexandre Fernandes.

The Open Water Male Swimmer of the Year was given to Rafael Gil while the Open Water Female Swimmer of the Year was awarded to Vânia Neve who finished 24th at the Rio Olympic Games 10 km marathon swim.
