Bill Goding and Linda Kaiser announced a comprehensive online guide to swimming the Kaiwi Channel (Molokai Channel) between the islands of Oahu and Molokai in Hawaii.

“I am excited to introduce this guide with most of the information needed to contemplate swimming the Molokai (Kaiwi) Channel. We expect several swimmers this year and they can get this info from this link. It is all about helping swimmers understand the how-to of swimming Kaiwi. Of course, if there are any questions, swimmers can contact us and we can give them what they need,” explains Kaiser.

“It has been many years since both Linda and I completed the crossing of the Molokai Channel,” explains Goding. “We continue to receive ongoing requests for information regarding this swim. This site will provide information on flights, accommodations, transportation, boat and paddling support, ocean currents, surf, wind and preferred routes. The one common thread during each Molokai crossing is its sheer unpredictability. We hope that this site will prove helpful in the planning process and we welcome any questions or comments.”
