Diana Nyad’s Extreme Dream:

Diana Nyad has begun her 103-mile adventure on the Caribbean Sea.

With Cuban officials and supporters lining the beach and a CNN crew on hand to record the historic occasion, Diana will begin later tonight.

Assuming a 60-hour swim, she will finish at 2:00 am New York time on Wednesday early morning.

So she will swim through Sunday night, Monday day and night, Tuesday day and night, with a finish somewhere along the Florida Keys on early Wednesday morning.
