Kill The Quit With John Doolittle & Mark Zinno

Courtesy of Mark Zinno on Kill The Quit.

John Doolittle is a United States Air Force Academy graduate and a former Navy SEAL. Doolittle’s experiences with competitive swimming and his 21-year service as a Navy SEAL with overseas deployments from Afghanistan to Kosovo led him to swim across the English Channel.

Doolittle has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim year in and year out.

He completed a 12 hour 24 minute crossing of the English Channel in September 2004 in memory of fellow Navy SEAL Petty Officer Neil Roberts who was killed during combat in Afghanistan during the Battle of Roberts Ridge. The charity swim benefitted the Naval Special Warfare Foundation which supports the family members of Special Warfare personnel killed.

Doolittle and host Mark Zinno discuss his various experiences on a 54-minute episode of the Kill The Quit podcast here.
