Ingemar Macarine Set To Attempt Another New Crossing

Ingemar Macarine will attempt another unprecedented swim in his native Philippines, a 14 km swim in the Bohol Sea on Sunday.

The 39-year-old plans his 19th open water swim as a crossing from Pamilacan Island to Baclayon proper.

The island is surrounded by plenty of marine life including dolphins, sea snakes, and whales, and is sponsored by the Municipality of Baclayon, where a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit in 2013, to help promote local tourism.
