Catalina Channel Swimming Federation is offering Observer + CPR Training Sessions in San Diego on May 1st and in Los Angeles on May 15th.

Participants who bring their USMS membership card will walk away certified in CPR and will receive a Catalina Channel Official Observer Toolkit together with a 2010 membership.

The training session includes an in-depth discussion of likely scenarios during a Channel swim. It’s a requirement that every Catalina Channel observer is CPR-certified in 2010.
