11 For 11 For Petar Stoychev?

In what can only be described as unbelievable is tomorrow’s attempt by Petar Stoychev to win the 32K Traversee internationale du lac St-Jean for the 11th straight time.

With over a decade of dominance in the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix series, Petar knows that his competitors seem to get younger and hungrier every year. “Tomorrow will be hard day again for me. Roberval 32K,” succinctly stated Petar.

Cold, hard and long. Just the way marathon swimmers prepare for any tough marathon swim.

Photo shows Petar winning his 10th consecutive victory in 2010.
