Guila Muir swims in the state of Washington with the Notorious Alki Swimmers in West Seattle.

Muir created Say Yes To Life Swims that offers swim excursions and open water swimming tours and adventures throughout the year and hosts an annual WOW (Women In The Open Water) panel discussion.

Women In The Open Water I was held in 2018. The WOW2 event will be held on March 21st.

Muir writes, “Do you want to expand your potential in the open water? Whether your dream is to swim one mile, ten miles, or more, this free panel discussion will provide tips and techniques to achieve your dreams. All genders, swim abilities, and athletic passions are welcome.

It is co-hosted by Triple Crown of Open Water Swimmer Melissa Kegler and Muir, and features panelists Stephanie Zimmerman, Kate Curtis, Heidi Skyrzypek, and Rose Filer.

Muir says, “Participants can expect to meet other swimmers, explore local options, and celebrate the open water swimming community in all its forms. Price Waterhouse Cooper’s WIN (Women’s Inclusion Network) is providing donations. The panel will address questions like ‘How can I overcome my self-limiting beliefs?’, ‘What are relays? How do they work?’, and ‘How should I prepare to swim longer distances?’

WOW2 is on March 21st between 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Price Waterhouse Cooper Café (at 1420 5th Avenue, Seattle, CA 98101) within the US Bank Centre Building.
