Open water swimmers always gaze upon bodies of water and wonder what it feels like to swim in, what the flow of the water is, what the water temperature feels like, and what is visible under the water (the marine life, the depth, the clarity). Some water is salty and bright blue; others are tasty fresh and dark green. Some have seaweed; others have ferns. Some have jellyfish and sharks; others have ducks and frogs.
We wonder what it is like to swim in the Oneonta Gorge in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon.
Wild swimming in the shallow water and hiking along the wide variety of unique ferns, mosses, hepatics and lichens and waterfalls (Ponytail Falls, Triple Falls, Horsetail Falls) would be totally cool.
