Simon Holliday and Shu Pu will give a talk on their Clean Cross Swim on July 17th at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club on Kellett Island in Causeway Bay.

The 35-year-old swimmer and his escort kayaker will explain their May 24th swim that took 10 hours 20 minutes to swim across the Pearl River delta from Hong Kong to Macau.

One of the highlights of their crossing was an hour-long escort by 30 pink dolphins as Holliday beat the record previously held by Chinese swimmer Zhang Jian. The other highlight was the fact that their charity swim raised over $230,000 for Ocean Recovery Alliance and its project Grate Art.

Reservations can be made by emailing shushupu@gmail.com.
