Paul “Spike” Dedrick is the official photographer, videographer and radio announcer for the Penny Palfrey’s Bridging The Cayman Islands swim. He’ll be on Penny’s main escort boat.

And Spike has the DNA to document and support this adventurous swim. Not only has he hung out of helicopters and photographed all kinds of events and sporting exploits, but Spike is also the great-great-grandson of Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton, the incredibly courageous hero who came back safely from one of the greatest potential disasters in history in the South Pole, saving his entire team.
