How many times have you seen swimmers get up early for a morning practice, rubbing their eyes and moving slowly before getting in the water…and then smiling widely after getting out?
So many swimmers move a lot faster and think a lot more positively after their morning dip.
These images often remind us of the words that Kevin Murphy says before he heads out to his solo swims. “I am going for a little dip.”
Which is somewhat misleading because Murphy, an International Swimming Hall of Fame and International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Honour Swimmer, has gone for “little dips” as long as over 52 hours straight.
