Scott Zornig has had his eyes on a 14.4 km crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar for some time.  But circumstances and weather have never coupled up for him.

He explains his persistence, “After coming to Spain in 2016, 2018, and again this year to attempt to swim across the Strait of Gibraltar, I [finally] got my break this morning.  I am happy to say that 16,000+ strokes and 4 hours, 7 minutes later, I touched the shores of Morocco on the African continent.

This one was for Lynn Kubasek.”
