Sara Marley Does Triple Crown Of Open Water Swimming

Sara Marley, a 49-year-old Irish open water swimmer living in London, became the latest to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with yesterday’s 12 hour 37 minute crossing of the Catalina Channel.

Her solo swims include:

* September 2013: 24.3 km Cape Circumnavigation Challenge around Cape May in New Jersey in 8 hours 11 minutes
* July 2014: 33.8 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 13 hours 47 minutes
* July 2015: 66 km Round Jersey in the Channel Islands in 12 hours 20 minutes
* 2015: competed in the Champion of Champions event in Dover Harbour
* August 2016: 26.4 km International Self-Transcendence Marathon-Schwimmen in Switzerland in 10 hours 18 minutes
* June 2017: 10 km Jubilee River Swim from Taplow to Eton, UK in 3 hours 6 minutes
* July 2017: 12.9 km Torbay Championship from Meadfort to Fishcombe to Meadfoot in 4 hours 27 minutes

* July 2017: 45.9 km 20 Bridges Circumnavigation Swim of Manhattan in New York City in 9 hours 2 minutes
* June 2018: 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the mainland in 12 hours 37 minutes
