Plivački Maraton Jarak-Šabac In The Sava River

The FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix event in Sabac, Serbia has been rescheduled to August 1st.

Formally known as the Plivački maraton Jarak-Šabac, the professional 19K race is the seventh of 10 races on the longest and toughest marathon swimming circuit in the world is 19K. Held in the Sava River, the race heads from Jarak (Јарак), a town of 2,200 people, to Šabac.

Stops in the 2010 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix include Rosario (Argentina), Santa Fe (Argentina), Hernandarias-Parana (Argentina), Sumidero Canyon (Mexico), Capri-Napoli (Italy), Lac St-Jean (Canada), Sabac (Serbia), Lac Memphremagog (Canada), Ohrid Lake (Macedonia) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
