Gadi Katz, who organized the unprecedented Three Days in Three Seas event in 2009, is organizing even more open water swims in Israel for 2010.
“We will start off with the Tel Aviv Open Water Race on May 28th, the first open water race in Tel Aviv with the cooperation of the Tel Aviv Municipality and the Israeli Swimming Association.”
“Distances will be 800 meters, 1.5 km and 5 km. The 800-meter race will be for families and children. It will be held on Gordon Beach in Tel Aviv, right beside the Tel Aviv Marina.”
“Our other race will be The Longest Day, The Longest Swim where we will swim 21 km across the length of the Sea of Galilee. It will be an expedition swim with up to 40 swimmers.”
“And our final swim will be the popular Three Days in Three Seas swim.“
Great opportunities for anyone who wishes to swim in the historic locations in Israel.
