Nejib Belhedi To Be Honored At WOWSA Ocean Fest

Nejib Belhedi is the Father of Ouma. He summed up the history of Ouma in his native Tunisia here.
Belhedi, even after having heart surgery, came back at the age of 66 to swim 76 hours 30 minutes along the coast of Tunisia to Djerba Island in a 120 km sea swim between September 15th-18th 2018. It was the longest sea swim by duration.
His swim will be recognized and honored at the 2019 WOWSA Ocean Fest in Redondo Beach, California on October 5th.
