Lexie Kelly, Alex Meyer Go 2-for-2 In Flowers Sea Swim

Olympian and 25 km world champion Alex Meyer and Californian Lexie Kelly won their second race at the 10 km marathon swim at the 2019 Flowers Sea Swim on Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands.
On Saturday, the duo finished 1st in the men’s and women’s races in the 27th edition of the 1-mile race (see results of the top 15 below).
Frank Flowers, namesake of the event, explains, “The unique draw of the Flowers Sea Swim is not only its flawless course conditions along Cayman’s beautiful Seven Mile Beach, but the numerous random prizes. The race is the world’s richest open water event with over US$100,000 in cash and random prizes.
