Patrick Winkler of the large Rei do Marr series has arranged for 3 top Brazilian duos (Olympians Ana Marcela Cunha and Allan do Carmo, Viviane Jungblut and Victor Colonese, and pool Olympians Gabriela Roncato and Leonardo de Deus) and an Argentina Olympic team of Cecilia Biagioli and Guillermo Bértola to compete against Dutch and American teams that will be the most highly anticipated open water race this winter.

The 3 km race will be held in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on December 20th – 23rd with R$20,000 (US$5,376) for first.
