47-year-old Guinness World Record holder, cold-water swimming expert, and iconic ice swimming coach Josef Köberl did a tough training swim in Zauchensee, Austria the day before he helped Israeli swimmer Avishag Turek complete her first Ice Mile on April 27th in 4.33°C water, “I did an Ice Mile at 1616m altitude – my 7th – for training. Then on Saturday, after Avishag did her Ice Mile, I swam 2424m for a new Austrian record.“
