Whether it was the finish of the 32K lac St-Jean race or the finish of the 34K lac Memphremagog race in Canada, the local fans in Quebec really support the 10-time victor Petar Stoychev:

But what is even more amazing is that all these fans stick around for hours madly cheering for each and every one of the finishers. The respect and appreciation for marathon swimmers shown in Quebec and on the entire FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit is humbling to observe.
