Kerri Kanuga (Canada), Alex Harling (Great Britain), Andrea Roach (Canada) and Elizabeth Berns (Great Britain) did a simultaneous double crossing of Cayman Brac Channel in the Cayman Islands on July 21st.
It was the first time this stunningly gorgeous 9.76-mile (15.7 km) channel has been completed as a two-way crossing. The quad swam from Cayman Brac Island to Point of Sand on Little Cayman Island and back to their start point.
Harling had previously completed a single crossing of the Cayman Brac Channel in 2:59:01 as did Kanuga (2:59:05) and Roach (3:04) in 2011.
