Betina Lorscheitter Wins Two At Campeonato Brasileiro

Betina Lorscheitter won the 5 km race in 59:49 over Marina Amorim and Cibelle Jungblut at Stage II of the Campeonato Brasileiro de Maratonas Aquáticas.

I’m really happy. I tried to get closer to the men’s pack.”

On the men’s side, Victor Colonese won in Caraguatatuba on the north coast of São Paulo over Luiz Gustavo Barros and Matheus Evangelista.

Stage III of the series will be held between May 4th and 6th at the Náutico beach in Fortaleza.

On Friday, Lorscheitter won the 10 km race while Alexandre Finco won the men’s 10 km. For more details and photos of the 10 km race, visit here.
