Sonia O’Neal, President of the Barbados Amateur Swimming Association, announced the 5K Barbados Open Water International Swim from the popular Accra Beach to the picturesque Carlisle Bay on May 24th.

Barbados’ capital, Bridgetown, is situated on this bay which is a marine park. Relics, like anchors and cannon balls, can be found on the ocean floor in Carlisle Bay.
