
After a record-setting International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame induction ceremony in San Diego, California (see here) hosted by Carol Sing (USA, MSF bio here) and the Catalina Channel Swimming Federation, chairperson Ned Denison (Ireland, MSF bio here, IISA bio here) announced that the next IMSHOF Class of 2027 induction ceremony will be held in Dublin, Ireland on May 8th 2027.
Denison asked for the community’s assistance, “Help identify and nominate Administrators, Coaches, Organizations, Pilots, and Swimmers for induction and individual nominees for the Poseidon Award and the Irving Davids and Captain Roger W. Wheeler Memorial Award. Nominations must be submitted by July 31st 2026 to allow an adequate period for internal data validation, ethics, and viability review.
