

There were three International Ice Swimming Association events in Denmark held dn the second half of March. Several Danish swimmers and one South African ice swimmer came together between March 15th and 22nd to organize, support each other, and challenge themselves to ice swims ranging from 1 km to 3 km:
- Danish Ice Swimming Association/NIS Ice Mile Even in Badezone Sandkaj, Nordhavn, Copenhagen on March 15th
- Danish Ice Swimming Association Ice Mile Event Aarhus in Aarhus Havnbadet on March 21st
- Danish Ice Swimming Association Ice Mile Event Sønderborg in Sønderborg Havnbad on March 22nd.
March 15th Event
Held in 3.8°C sea water, Gianmarco Ponti (IISA bio here) organized the event with the assistance of referee Henrik Luneborg (IISA bio here), medical officer Niels Steen (IISA bio here), and IISA official Lise Marie Bendixen (IISA bio here). The swimmers included the following:
- Claus Bobjerg Juul (53, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Kilometer
- Ulrik Falkenberg Lending (51, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Kilometer
- Heidi Sandal (46, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Henry Lykke Stokholm (57, Denmark, IISA bio here, MSF bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Keid Hagen Joergensen, (53, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Nadja Joy Tønnesen (38, Denmark, IISA bio here, MSF bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Natascha Venter (32, South Africa, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Susi Baerentzen (41, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
March 21st Event
Held in 0.0°C pool water, Henry Lykke Stokholm organized the event with the assistance of referee: Tommy Schneider (IISA bio here), medical officer Lizzie Knudsen (66, Denmark, IISA bio here), and IISA official Jesper Praest Olsen (IISA bio here). The swimmers included the following:
- Susanne Schneider (59, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Kilometer
- Christian Norin Schunck (52, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Jette la Cour Landergren (52, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Natascha Venter (32, South Africa, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Nadja Joy Tønnesen (38, Denmark, IISA bio here, MSF bio here) completed a 2.5 km ice swim
- Henry Lykke Stokholm (57, Denmark, IISA bio here, MSF bio here) completed a 3 km ice swim
March 22nd Event
Held in Sønderborg Havnebad in 0.0° freshwater, Henry Lykke Stokholm organized his second event in two days with the assistance of referee Natascha Venter, medical officer Lizzie Knudsen, and IISA official Christian Norin Schunck. The swimmers included the following:
- Christian Norin Schunck (52, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed his second Ice Mile in two days
- Claus Bobjerg Juul (53, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed an Ice Mile
- Jette la Cour Landergren (52, Denmark, IISA bio here) completed her second Ice Mile in two days
