The 2019 edition of the Winter Swimming Race Paliria was held in Aretsou Beach in Kalamariá, Thessaloniki in northern Greece.

“41 swimmers competed in the 300m and 1 km race in 8°C water in a loop course; 36 of them managed to complete the race and only 5 did not finish,” reported Ioannis Kifonidis. “The Hellenic Marathon Swimming Association organized the event with the contribution of Kalamaria Municipality, Kalamaria Swimming Pool and Baylines Lifeguards Services.”
