Lia Thomas filed a case for arbitration with the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the transgender policies recently adopted by World Aquatics.

The issue of transgender women competing against cis women has been a hot topic of heated debate in the pool swimming community. Soon, similar issues will need to be addressed by the global open water swimming community.
