Marcos Diaz completed his second continental crossing this morning when he swam from Asia to Africa (Jordan to Egypt) from Aqaba, Jordan to Taba Heights, Egypt. “I started at 8:27 am this morning and finished the 18.3K swim in 4 hours and 54 minutes. Staying flexible is the name of the open water game. Marcos Diaz will change direction and venue for the second leg of his four-swim Swim Across the Continents project. Marcos is currently headed towards Jordan for a revised Asia-to-Africa swim. His initial swim was from Yemen to Djibouti, but security problems were difficult to overcome.
