2020 Greek Open Water Swimming Grand Prix Results

Ioannis Kotsiopoulos has competed in marathon swims around the world, from the English Channel to Egypt, Argentina, Croatia, Hungary and many throughout his native country of Greece.

He manages the marathon swimming club called Leandros and Greek Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit over the last seven years.

He explains, “There are approximately 60 annual events (see Google Earth view above and here). We rank approximately 3,000 open water swimmers and hold an annual ceremony for the top overall and age group swimmers. Many races were cancelled due to the special circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, but there were still some races held.”
