New Marathon Swims Of Corazón de Mar Bahía de Banderas

Mariel Hawley Dávila is organizing the two swims of the Corazón de Mar Bahía de Banderas, a 10 km marathon swim from Punta Mita to Marieta Island and a 40 km marathon swim from Punta de Mita to Chimo, Cabo Corrientes along the Pacific coast of Mexico.
The Oceans Seven swimmer from Mexico City explains, “I’m establishing a non-profit organization in collaboration with this swim. We will have a limited number of swims per year since Marietas Island is a protected marine area. It is a fundraising event for certain Mexican organizations like the Corazón de Niña Orphanage in Vallarta.”
