A Dream Come True: The Triple Crown Of Open Water Swimming

Bárbara Hernández Huerta of Chile realized a dream. With a 7 hour 59 minute 45.9 km circumnavigation swim around Manhattan Island in today’s 20 Bridges Swim, she became the first swimmer from Chile to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

It is a dream come true,” she said with the widest, brightest smile possible.
