2nd Annual Jim Whelan Open Water Festival & 55th Around the Island Marathon

Registration is open for the 2nd Annual Jim Whelan Open Water Festival, featuring the 55th Around The Island™️ Swim! This marathon swim taking place on Aug 9, 2020, is around the 4 municipalities that make up Absecon Island in Atlantic County, NJ (Longport, Margate, Ventnor, & Atlantic City). All proceeds benefit Green Whales, Inc, a non-profit organization who’s mission is to promote the sport of swimming while educating on water safety.
