Pristine conditions welcomed competitors at the fourth race in the Kouga Express Eastern Province Open Water Swim Series held in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa this weekend. Jessica Roux continued her winning way and won the 5K race again. Brenton Williams won the men’s 5K. Jonathan Roux and Chrislie-Thandi Niehaus won the 3K race respectively. Dominic Greeff and Tammy Geyer each won the 1K race.
Over 500 swimmers are entered in the eighth race in the Axxess DSL Ocean Racing Series in Hobie Beach this weekend while Jeffreys Bay will host the inaugural Eastern Province Open Water Swim Championships on January 30-31 with 0.5K, 1K, 3K, 5K and 10K races.
