Niek Kloots of Open Water Swimming Europe offered some statistics from the European open water swimming summer season. Niek summarizes, “There are 917 events in the summer months alone throughout Europe.”In June, there are 227 open water events. In July, there are 373 open water events. In August, there are 306 open water events. Gotta like that activity in the open water.
