From Magog, Québec, Canada. Mohamed Marouf, a former professional marathon swimmer from Egypt, found his niche training and coaching pool and open water swimmers in Quebec, Canada. He has been tasked by Swimming Canada to help develop the future – the next generation of Canadian open water swimmers. He explains his philosophy to the World Open Water Swimming Association before the 1 km, 5 km and 10 km amateur races at the Traversée Internationale du Lac Memphrémagog.
