Six Down, One To Go In The Oceans Seven

Spread the love

According to the Kyodo News, Australian Penny Palfrey completed the Tsugaru Channel on September 20th from Japan’s Hokkaido to its main island of Honshu in about 14½ hours under difficult conditions.

With that success, Penny has now crossed six of the seven channels of the Ocean’s Seven – the English Channel, Catalina Channel, Cook Strait, Molokai Channel, Strait of Gibraltar and Tsugaru Channel. With the North Channel the remaining channel to be crossed, she looks like she may be the first person to achieve the Oceans Seven.
