Bulgaria’s five-time world champion wrestler Stanka Zlateva just outpointed Peter Stoychev for Bulgaria’s best sports personality of the year. It was her second year in a row to be honored by the country’s sports journalists.

Petar remains in a similar position in the World Open Water Swimming Man of the Year voting that is open until December 31st.
