Petar Stoychev, the only individual to concurrently hold the world record in the English Channel and be a FINA world champion, is now a father of two. His son, Peter (3.7kg, 51cm) was born on December 16th. Throw in his 11 consecutive years of dominance in the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix professional marathon swimming circuit, his participation in 3 Olympics, his 6th place finish in the Olympic 10km Marathon Swim, his flag-bearing duties at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and little Peter has one amazing father to look up to.
